Operating Principle
This is a double pilot operated check valve, meaning it allows flow only when a control (pilot) pressure is applied to the opposite side. By default, internal springs keep the valve closed to prevent backflow. When pressure is applied to one pilot port (e.g., C1), it opens the opposite flow path (e.g., V1), allowing hydraulic fluid to pass.
With a pilot ratio of 1:4, even a relatively low pilot pressure is sufficient to open the valve. It is commonly used in applications that require a hydraulic actuator to remain stationary until intentionally released.
