Hydraulic pressure gauges

Pressure Gauges

The hydraulic pressure gauges collected in this category are essential components of the hydraulic systems of trucks and machinery, enabling accurate and reliable pressure monitoring.

The efficiency and service life of hydraulics largely depend on whether the system operates within the appropriate pressure range. Therefore, the quality of the pressure gauges fundamentally determines both the safety and effectiveness of the work. One of the most important decisions when purchasing is whether to choose a bottom- or back-connection model. Get to know the main types!

About Hydraulic Pressure Gauges in General

Among our products for hydraulic systems, the pressure gauge is a special measuring device designed specifically for hydraulic machinery. Its role is to provide real-time, accurate information about the system’s pressure values, thereby supporting both the operation and maintenance of the machines.

They are used in trucks, construction and agricultural equipment, as well as other machinery, since they play a key role in preventing hydraulic system failures by indicating changes in one of the most important system parameters  the pressure in due time.

Accurate measurement allows the operator to immediately detect pressure fluctuations, enabling timely intervention to avoid serious damage.

Vertical and Rear-Connection Models

All hydraulic pressure gauges serve the same function  reporting on the hydraulic system’s pressure and in this regard, they only differ by manufacturer in terms of materials and build quality. However, one key parameter worth considering when selecting is the position of the connection, as this essentially determines how and where the gauge can be installed.

Vertical-connection pressure gauges: Here, the connection is located on the rear side of the instrument panel. They are ideal for installation on dashboards of trucks or control panels of hydraulic systems, or anywhere the gauge can be front-facing and seamlessly integrated into a panel surface for clear visibility and readability.

Rear-connection pressure gauges: These have their connection at the bottom, which is particularly advantageous when the instrument is mounted directly onto machine components, pipelines, or next to pumps, allowing the display to be easily read from above.

Although their function is identical, their installation environment differs and that is the decisive factor when choosing.

Which Hydraulic Pressure Gauge Should You Choose?

The proper selection of a hydraulic pressure gauge always depends on the application conditions. If the instrument is to be installed on a dashboard or control panel, the back-connection type is the practical solution, as the display will directly face the operator for easy readability.

If, however, the gauge is to be mounted directly on a machine element, such as beside a pump or on a pipe section, the Rear-connection version ensures the best accessibility and readability.

When choosing, it is also important to consider the gauge’s pressure range, vibration resistance, and durability, as these guarantee long-term accuracy and reliable operation within hydraulic systems.
