Operating Principle
The valve includes two internal check valves, each allowing flow in only one direction, until a pilot pressure signal opens them. When hydraulic pressure is applied to one pilot port (V1 or V2), the corresponding check valve opens, allowing flow in that direction this ensures that pressure is only released intentionally.
This design is especially useful for controlling double-acting cylinders, where movement must be prevented until explicitly commanded. The dual pilot function guarantees safety by avoiding uncontrolled cylinder movement in load-holding applications.
