Operating principle

The pump operates using two meshing gears that move hydraulic oil through the system. As the teeth separate at the inlet side, a vacuum draws oil into the pump housing. The oil travels between the gear teeth along the housing wall toward the outlet as the gears rotate. Precision clearances inside the pump prevent backflow and maintain efficient pressure buildup. Fixed displacement means that each rotation moves a consistent volume of oil.
