Operating Principle
This is a double pilot operated check valve, designed to block flow in both directions until an external pilot pressure is applied. The valve contains two internal check valves controlled by opposite pilot channels (V1 and V2). When pilot pressure is applied to one side (e.g., C1), it unlocks the check valve on the other side (V2), allowing fluid flow.
This functionality makes it particularly useful in hydraulic cylinders where position holding under load and safety against unintended motion are critical. The cracking pressure (opening threshold) is 2 bar.
