Operating Principle
The pressure relief valve functions by limiting the hydraulic system pressure to a preset value. When the pressure at the inlet (P) exceeds the set limit, the spring-loaded cartridge opens, allowing excess oil to flow into the return line (T), thus protecting the components downstream from overpressure.
The spring tension can be adjusted via the top screw to define the desired relief threshold. This mechanism ensures safe and stable operation of the system, preventing damage to sensitive hydraulic parts during pressure surges.
