Operating Principle
The VMP 3/4" valve operates as a direct-acting pressure relief device. When the system pressure exceeds the pre-set value, the spring-loaded poppet inside the valve opens, allowing excess hydraulic fluid to flow through the relief port to the tank.
This controlled bypass reduces the pressure in the hydraulic line, thereby preventing potential component damage. Once the pressure drops back below the set threshold, the valve automatically closes, re-establishing the sealed circuit. This simple but effective mechanism ensures continuous pressure regulation and system safety.
