Operating principle
The valve uses a spring-loaded conical poppet that remains closed until the system pressure exceeds the preset value. When overpressure occurs, the spring compresses, allowing the poppet to open and redirect excess fluid to the tank port (T), relieving the pressure from the pressure port (P).
Once the pressure drops back below the threshold, the spring forces the valve to close again, stopping further flow. This automatic cycle maintains system pressure within safe limits and protects components from potential damage.
