Operating principle
Under normal operating conditions, the valve remains closed, allowing hydraulic fluid to pass freely through the pressure port (P). When system pressure exceeds the preset limit, the spring-loaded valve opens and diverts the excess fluid to the tank port (T), thereby relieving pressure. Once the pressure drops back to a safe level, the valve closes automatically. This function protects system components from damage and stabilizes system pressure even under heavy load.
