The V0700 type VMP 3/8” pressure relief valve is designed to safely limit the maximum pressure in a hydraulic system. When the preset pressure is reached, the valve opens to prevent pressure overload and protect system components from damage. Its zinc-plated steel body and heat-treated internal parts ensure long service life, while the 300-bar configuration makes it suitable for heavy-duty hydraulic applications.

Operating principle
This valve remains closed under normal operating pressure, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow freely to the system. When the system pressure exceeds the preset limit, the valve opens and diverts excess fluid to the tank (T), thereby reducing pressure and preventing potential damage.
Once the pressure drops back to a safe level, the valve closes automatically. The relief setting can be precisely adjusted via the screw on the valve body, allowing it to be tailored to the specific requirements of the application.
