Operating Principle
This overcenter valve works by allowing free flow in one direction (toward the actuator) while controlling flow in the opposite direction based on pilot pressure. When a load tends to run away or move due to gravity or momentum, the valve holds it in place until the pilot pressure from the control circuit opens it intentionally.
The built-in check valve allows fluid to pass to the actuator, while the overcenter function ensures safe and smooth lowering or return movement. This design prevents uncontrolled drops, especially in vertical lift systems like cranes or loaders.
