Working Principle
This overcenter valve allows free flow in one direction via an internal check valve but restricts flow in the opposite direction unless a pilot pressure is applied. This design prevents uncontrolled load movement, such as dropping or overrunning of cylinders under load. The valve opens only when the pilot pressure reaches a preset ratio, ensuring that movement begins only under controlled conditions.
