Operating principle

The pump uses two intermeshing gears that create a vacuum on the inlet side as they rotate. This vacuum draws hydraulic oil into the pump housing. The gears then carry the oil along the casing wall to the outlet side. Tight internal tolerances prevent backflow and help maintain pressure. Since it's a fixed displacement pump, it delivers the same amount of oil with every revolution.
