Operating principle

The pump operates using two intermeshing gears that draw in and move hydraulic oil. As the teeth separate on the inlet side, a vacuum is created, pulling oil into the housing. The rotating gears carry the oil along the casing to the outlet side. Tight tolerances inside the pump prevent oil from leaking back and ensure pressure is maintained. Because it is a fixed displacement pump, it transfers the same amount of oil with every rotation.
