SUNFAB SAP 012-064 HYDRAULIC BYPASS VALVE 24V DC

This bypass valve is designed for Sunfab SAP, SCP, SAE and SAPT series hydraulic pumps. Also compatible with:

SAP-012R and L pumps
SAP-017R and L pumps
SAP-025R and L pumps
SAP-034R and L pumps
SAP-047R and L pumps
SAP-064R and L pumps

It can be mounted on the rear of the pump quickly and easily. It is used in applications where the PTO cannot be disengaged easily, and with this bypass valve the system can be protected against overpressure developing in the hydraulic system while driving. In its default state, it does not allow oil to flow into the system. Operation is possible via 24V DC electrical connection and switching.

Details

Operating principle

The bypass valve functions by redirecting hydraulic fluid back to the tank, bypassing the pressurized system. When 24V is applied, the solenoid activates and closes the bypass channel, allowing fluid to flow into the working circuit.

When de-energized, the valve reopens the bypass, diverting fluid away from the high-pressure side. This helps prevent pressure spikes and unnecessary energy use during idle or startup phases of the pump.
