Opearting Principle
Direct-current power units are basically miniature hydraulic systems consisting of an electric motor (12 or 24 V), a gear pump connected to it, a tank containing hydraulic oil, and an aluminium connection block. These systems are necessary when it is not possible to install a power take-off (PTO) on the vehicle’s gearbox to drive a hydraulic pump. The energy required for operation comes from the vehicle’s battery.
One of the key features of these power units is their high flexibility of use from simple tailgate or ramp movement to any other application involving the operation of hydraulic cylinders.
Thanks to the wide range of available versions, users can meet a variety of application needs, from simple tipping RE versions (with electric lift/lower control) to more complex uses, such as lifting systems or municipal applications (e.g. snowplow operation, etc.).
