Operating principle
Fluid be it oil or water flows through the cartridge where the polypropylene fibers physically trap contaminants larger than 25 µm, such as sludge, rust, or metal particles. This filtration protects the system from abrasion and clogging caused by fine particulates. The clean fluid then continues through the housing and back into the system. The cartridge can be easily replaced without tools, avoiding lengthy shutdowns.
